Casa San Agustín is a colonial-style building consisting of three houses of the old historical center of Cartagena de Indias. Of this last one was rescued an old aqueduct when Cartagena was only the walled city. This one, collected rainwater, filtered it and carried the cisterns through a column-type pipe located on a wall between the pool and the patio of what today is the Hotel Casa San Agustín, and what today is the corporate image of the hotel, and also are this splendid pool.

DISCOVER
CARTAGENA DE INDIAS
Situated on a bay in the Caribbean Sea, Cartagena de Indias was built between the 14th and 19th centuries and has the most extensive fortifications in South America. The city’s well-preserved 11-kilometer wall, encompassing the Old Town, was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984.
This colonial town was one of the three most important ports in the West Indies and became a target for pirates as the city flourished.
